Enjoy fall blooms at the Annual Mum Show

Step into a lush fall paradise at our Annual Chrysanthemum Show inside the iconic Floral Showhouse. This year’s show features 1,350 mums in 35 varieties accented by 200 display plants that include blue star ferns, asparagus ferns, Boston ferns, birds of paradise and palms.

For 75 years, visitors from around the world have enjoyed the stunning oasis of the Floral Showhouse, just a short walk south from Niagara Falls and Table Rock Centre. Collections of orchids, succulents and other tropical plant species are on display throughout the year, along with floral shows that reflect the changing seasons.

The Annual Chrysanthemum Show runs until November 14.

Connect with nature

Admire the beauty of fall and connect with nature along the paved 56-kilometre Niagara River Recreation Trail. Hike the Niagara Glen and see the perfect fall scene of changing leaves overlooking the incredible Niagara River and Whirlpool below. Visit the Niagara Glen Nature Centre or the Whirlpool Aero Car for an unforgettable, panoramic view of the fall colours within the Niagara Gorge.

As always, our outdoor experiences are free to explore. From hiking and cycling to tranquil garden walks, there’s no shortage of wonder to discover during the fall!

Enrich your little inventor’s weekend with our Little Inventors Workshops inside the all-new Niagara Parks Power Station. Hosted twice-daily on Saturdays and Sundays, these free workshops feature STEM-related activities designed to inspire young minds to explore their curiosity and creativity through Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Access to these empowering workshops is included with regular child admission to the Niagara Parks Power Station!

The perfect indoor activity for those cold fall days! Step inside one of the largest glass-enclosed butterfly conservatories in North America and discover a tropical garden oasis. The Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory features over 2,000 vibrantly coloured butterflies fluttering freely throughout winding pathways adorned with lush vegetation and trickling waterfalls.

Explore 180 metres of meandering pathways surrounded by towering tropical plants and gorgeous blooms. You’ll find feeding trays where butterflies gather for an up-close look, specially curated blooms that attract these fascinating creatures, and a picturesque waterfall creating a beautiful rainforest atmosphere. You can also experience a fascinating stage of the butterfly’s life cycle at the emergence window!
