Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse

Spring has officially sprung! In addition to the beautiful springtime blooms currently on display, Niagara Parks staff will be incorporating classic Easter favourites into the seasonal design. Festive spring lilies, as well as other colourful and fragrant flowers such as hyacinths, azaleas, tulips and daffodils will also be integrated into the display. Another time-honoured tradition at the Floral Showhouse will be the addition of live chicks and bunnies throughout the weekend.

Located just outside the Floral Showhouse throughout the beautifully manicured grounds and gardens, guests will find the captivating outdoor art installation, Life on Display. Featuring repurposed pieces acquired from the Durham region’s former Cullen Miniature Village collection. The installation includes a series of miniature Muskoka cottages and a replica vintage train, all displaying a level of detail that must be seen to be fully appreciated.

To honour the 100th anniversary of this significant milestone, visitors will be able to try their hand at operating a circa 1920s printing press and take home their own printed quote related to this crucial step toward equality for all Canadians.
