Things to Know
-
Is the Fan Zone pet friendly?
Dogs are welcome in the outdoor event areas, as long as they stay on a leash, with larger dogs appropriately muzzled. Only service animals are permitted inside restaurant spaces. As the Fan Zone can be lively and loud, we recommend considering your pet’s comfort level before visiting.
-
Can I bring a bag inside the Fan Zone?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring a bag inside the Fan Zone.
-
Can I bring food or drinks into the Fan Zone?
Outside food and drink are not permitted within the licensed areas. You’re welcome to bring small personal snacks, items required for medical reasons or food purchased from other Niagara Parks locations.
-
Can I bring a reuseable water bottle? Is there a refill station?
Definitely! Bring your reusable bottle and stay hydrated—there’s a water refill station inside the Queen Victoria Place Gift Shop.
-
What games will be broadcast?
Catch every match live at Fan Zone by the Falls daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Please note that, unless otherwise indicated, games with start times of 10:00 p.m. or later will not be broadcast.
-
Can I bring my own flag or banner?
Show your team spirit is encouraged! Small flags, banners and posters are welcome, as long as they’re no bigger than 2 m x 1.5 m (about 78 in x 60 in) and don’t block the view or create safety concerns. To keep the space enjoyable for everyone, items must be non-flammable, cannot be attached to structures and must remain respectful in nature.
-
Can I bring noisemakers or instruments?
Bring the energy and celebrate your team! That said, if noise levels begin to interfere with the experience of others or event operations, we may ask guests to pause their use. All items must be used safely and kept clear of walkways and exits.
-
What else is not permitted?
To keep the experience enjoyable for all, glass items, smoking and vaping are not allowed within the event space. Guests are expected to treat one another with respect and follow all posted guidelines—anything that targets or discriminates against a person or group isn’t allowed. Unsafe or disruptive behaviour, including climbing structures or blocking views, may result in removal from the event. We want this to be a space where everyone feels safe, comfortable and included!
-
Are there any restrictions on cameras?
Feel free to capture the moment and share your experience. We simply ask that any equipment, such as tripods, does not block pathways or disrupt the movement and enjoyment of other guests.
-
Is the event rain or shine?
In case of inclement weather, Fan Zone by the Falls may be closed—please check our website and social media channels for the latest updates. If outdoor areas are closed, Queen Victoria Place Restaurant will remain open, with indoor screens available so you can still enjoy the games!
