Project Update – April 23, 2019

Niagara Parks is pleased to announce the completion of the Ussher’s Creek Bridge Replacement Project along the south Niagara Parkway in Chippawa. The road will re-open as of Thursday, April 18, 2019. Final landscape restoration work will be undertaken with the road remaining open.

Niagara Parks was proud to invest $1.4 million in this infrastructure project, which maintains the heritage look and feel of Niagara Parks’ first bridge on the south Parkway, while adding new bike lanes to connect to the Niagara River Recreational Trail and improve the cycling experience for our guests. The work, coordinated by Niagara Parks’ Engineering staff, was completed by Rankin Construction.
