A DISPLAY OF HORTICULTURAL EXCELLENCE

Stroll along peaceful walking trails, where seasonal display beds reveal a fresh palette of stunning flowers and foliage. Explore the parterre, rose, vegetable and herb gardens, and let the serene beauty of Niagara’s most beautiful natural surroundings captivate you.

Designed by students of the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture, the gardens feature over 80,000 annual plants grown in the on-site greenhouse. One hundred and fifty student-designed hanging baskets can also be spotted in the gardens throughout the growing seasons.

INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT

Niagara Parks takes great pride in our commitment to sustainable garden management through our integrated pest management approach. We prioritize environmentally friendly pest control practices to minimize our ecological footprint. By focusing on planting disease-resistant species and using mechanical methods to control weeds, we reduce the need for chemical interventions.

When biopesticides are necessary, we carefully monitor our gardens for severe pest threats and use these natural solutions with precision. To keep our visitors informed, we post public notices 24 hours before and 48 hours after any biopesticide application.
